Keep matching items together and separate loose parts from unrelated pieces. If you have receipts, grading reports, maker information, or original packaging, bring them with the corresponding jewelry.
You do not need to know the exact karat, stone quality, or resale value of every piece before arranging an evaluation. Markings and documentation can provide context, but the buyer needs to review the jewelry itself.
Include broken jewelry and unwanted gold
A damaged bracelet, a broken chain, or a single earring can still be considered. Keep detached components with the item and mention any repairs you know about. Avoid unnecessary dismantling or aggressive cleaning before the visit.
